April, an Associate in our Plano office, is an experienced attorney who began her practice as an Assistant Attorney General in the Open Records Division. During her time at the Attorney General’s office, April issued over 750 informal letter rulings. Her years in the Attorney General’s office and clerking for the Texas Supreme Court brings unique knowledge and insight from working with entities that affect schools every day and makes her a valuable addition to the Eichelbaum Wardell firm.
She received her Juris Doctor at the University of Texas School of Law where she was a Senior Editor of THE TEXAS REVIEW OF LAW & POLITICS. She graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
April is admitted to the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. She is also admitted to practice law before all Texas state courts. She is a member of the Texas Council of School Attorneys.
