Sterling is Of Counsel in our West Texas office. Born and raised in the region, Sterling is deeply passionate about addressing the specific legal needs of West Texas residents.
Sterling’s legal expertise was honed during his time as an associate at our firm, where he gained invaluable experience in governance, employment law, construction procurement and litigation, and real property matters.
Since 2013, he has operated his own practice working with government entities and businesses, Sterling’s practice encompasses a range of legal areas, with a focus on business matters, governance, employment issues, family law, and probate.
Sterling proudly currently serves as the elected County Attorney for Mitchell County.
Sterling earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas and his Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law. A proud Fellow of the Society of Legal Scholars of the Texas Bar College, Sterling has also served on the board of the General Practice, Solo, and Small Firm Section of the State Bar of Texas.
His dedication to his community is evident in his service on the Board of Directors for the Mitchell County Hospital District and as President of his local Rotary Club.
He is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts and the federal district courts for the Northern, Western, and Southern Districts of Texas.
