Handling Easements with Ease: Practical Considerations for Managing Easement Requests Over District Property

Construction of school facilities is not complete until the district’s property is connected to the requisite utilities (water, wastewater, electric, and communications). Many times the attention required to be given to construction projects leaves precious little time to devote to consideration of the terms of the required easements needed to connect these facilities to the appropriate utilities. Darryl W.
